Hearts On Fire Returns to Charleston, WV

on August 10 & 11, 2018, at the Municipal Auditorium and this is who we are bringing……

We are excited to say that our speaker this year will be Algernon Tennyson.  Algernon has a radical personal testimony on how Jesus Christ changed his life. As a young man, excelling as an athlete, his life’s purpose changed when he heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ. After serving in the US Navy, Algernon has pursued God’s Call to speak boldly and passionately about His transforming Grace to all believers. This testimony, along with his gift of evangelism, has enabled him to reach youth and adults in a very powerful and effective way.  Hearing him once is just not enough.  We are blessed to have him with us on Friday evening as well as Saturday morning.

Our worship leader this year is one you know and love, Roger Williams & the AMUQ(all mixed up quartet).  Roger and the guys have been with HOF for many years and we love them as you do.  They have a way of connecting with youth, a connection you will remember and want to experience again and again.

Our concerts on Saturday afternoon, August 11, will be….. Building 429 and Carrollton.

Building 429

Through their songs and their high energy live shows, GRAMMY-nominated Building 429 is a band that has been touted throughout their career as “authentic and amazing — uplifting and unforgettable,” along with being “truly focused on bringing glory to God.”  Building 429 held the No. 1 spot with “We Won’t Be Shaken” on Billboard’s Hot AC/CHR chart and AC Indicator for multiple weeks which resulted in a nomination of Top Christian Song at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards.  They have received multiple nominations for such awards as a Grammy, Best Group or Duo of the Year and Christian Songs Artist of the Year.  We are excited to have them join the group of Hearts On Fire concert artists.

Carrollton

The Band Carrollton formerly known as Mosteller, is made up of four members, Justin, Jeremy, Michael and Jordan.  Although they didn’t grow up together they all began playing music and leading worship at church while they were in high school.  While not all live in the same city they come together in a common meeting place called “Carrollton”.   Their identity lies in their shared beliefs when it comes to family, faith and life’s sources of contentment.  “True joy’s found in a life with Jesus.” That belief brought the group together five years ago and it is still what their group is about today.

2017 IS OFF TO A GREAT START

For those who were at HOF Pigeon Forge, 2016 you heard the announcement of a new conference. On August 18 & 19, that event will take place in Charleston, WV at the Charleston Municipal Auditorium. We have put together a great conference and hope you will attend or spread the word for us. Our speakers will be Ed Newton and Scott Carter. The Comedy Duo, Bean & Bailey will join us, as will Roger Williams & the AMUQ leading worship. Our concerts are the amazing for KING & COUNTRY, and new to HOF, 7eventh Time Down.

Many of you have been contacting me about Pigeon Forge, and I am happy to say as of last week, it is completed. The brochures have not been sent to the printer yet, but I am going to give you the info early, because I am so excited I can’t wait!

On November 17 & 18, 2017, at the LeConte Center in Pigeon Forge, our speakers will be, Ed Newton and Algernon Tennyson. I will tell you more about them later. They are both wonderful in relaying God’s word to youth and I know you will enjoy them, for their first time, at Hearts On Fire in Pigeon Forge.

Our concerts for this year are without a doubt, two of the biggest names in Christian Music, Toby Mac & Crowder. Can I get an AMEN??? !!! We are so very blessed and excited to have them for their first time with us in Pigeon Forge.  Visit http://www.heartsonfireministries.org to register.

The Wait Is Almost Over

Just a quick message to let you know that on Monday, November 14 at 12:00 noon, online registration will shut down. Make every effort to register now! You can still add on and also register at the event as long as space is available. The cost is $45. We have space available in the Omega Session but the Alpha Session has more seats available. This is the first year pre-registration has gone over 10,000. We are very excited!

Don’t get so busy this summer that you forget to Register for Hearts On Fire!

Summer arrived on Monday and I know that youth groups are getting ready for exciting days ahead. If your church is anything like ours the youth group has plans for mission trips, youth retreats and local Bible Clubs. Busy times for everyone!

I just want to remind you to begin promoting Hearts On Fire 2016. November 18 & 19 will be here before we know it. New this year, if you register and pay before October 28 the cost is $35 per person, if after that date the cost is $45 per person. Also the deadline to pre-order Hoodies and T-Shirts is October 21. That is only 4 months away. It’s crazy how quickly time passes!!

I don’t know if you realize it but the K-Love Female Artist and Artist of the Year, Lauren Daigle will be with us this year as well as the winner of the Group or Duo of the Year and the Best Live Show recipient, for KING&COUNTRY. How exciting is that?? On our website, press Pigeon Forge, Promote, and you will find a video and printable poster to use for promotion of the event at your church.

Also, time is running out to submit your application for the Scott Carter Scholarship. The deadline for submission is July 1. The instructions and application are on our website.

Hearts On Fire 2016-What’s New and What’s Not!

I am happy to say the planning for Pigeon Forge 2016 is almost complete. It has certainly been a busy winter for us in preparation for the 30^th year of Hearts On Fire. This year is going to be packed with more speakers, concerts and praise & worship music than we have ever had before. Please keep an eye on our website, www.heartsonfireministries.org for the latest updates. Soon we will have the schedule and lodging details available and you can begin making your reservations. We are trying to pack as much into the schedule as possible. You will be amazed at all you will see and hear at HOF this year!

If you have a special memory or something special happened to you at Hearts On Fire please send me a quick email telling me about it. Whether you were saved at Hearts On Fire or gave your call to the ministry or your church had a special memory I would like to hear about it. We are trying to compile information that spans across all 30 years. You may be asked to submit a short 1-minute video clip later in the year. Please ask your youth group to get involved. Word of mouth is still our best advertisement. I would ask you to have your youth like us on Facebook and Twitter, (Hearts On Fire Ministries). Help us get the word out to as many people as possible.

I have a few changes you should know about this year. Registration will still be $35 per person if we receive your reservation and your money by October 28. If we receive your reservation after October 28 the registration will be $45 per person. Also, new this year, per your request, we will be offering hoodies for sale in addition to the long-sleeve T-shirts. The shirts will still be offered at $15 and the hoodie will be $25.

Register NOW for HOF Charleston 2016

While sitting at my desk watching the snow come down I am reminded of how much I love snow! I know many of you do not share in my love of snow but it has always filled me with a sense of slowing down, refreshing and cleansing. For those who are receiving snow, stay in, stay safe and enjoy time with your family.

I have a few messages for you:

T-Shirts have to be ordered next week. You will love the color and design celebrating the 30^th year of Hearts On Fire. If you haven’t visited the website recently you will see a new promo video uploaded on the Charleston page as well as the T-Shirt design.

Ken Freeman and Scott Carter are very excited about sharing God’s word with you. HOF Promo Video & Important Reminders!

Reminders:

October 20^th is the last day to make lodging reservations through the Pigeon Forge Housing Bureau. If you do not reserve your rooms by that date the special group rates may not apply. Go to lodging under the Pigeon Forge drop-down menu on our website for the lists of hotels and directions for making your reservation.

The deadline to pre-order your Hearts On Fire 2015 T-Shirts is October 23^rd. We will have shirts available at the event; however, remember the shirts at the event will be in limited sizes and also limited numbers. Last year we sold out!

The registration deadline is October 30^th. Ideally you should have your registration in by this date. I know it is difficult for some to commit with competing sports and other events. I would urge you to make your reservations by the deadline if at all possible. It really helps in our planning for the event. It is our goal never to turn anyone away after the registration deadline and if you have a student who asks to come after October 30^th we will register him or her as long as seating is available.

We are very excited about this year and look forward to seeing you in Pigeon Forge on November 20 – 21, 2015.

Pigeon Forge 2015 is off to a great start!

I wanted to let you know that the brochures for Pigeon Forge are going in the mail today. This year the mailing will go to 50,608 churches. Last year we mailed out 44,000 brochures.  Registrations have already begun to arrive!  Remember word of mouth is always one of the best ways of letting others know what you think of the conference.  Please visit us on Facebook or Twitter and let others know what the conference means to you.  If you do not receive a brochure, no worries, the website has all of the same information.

Remember to tell any upcoming graduates, or anyone attending a Christian College, to apply for the Scott Carter Scholarship. The application is available online.

Great HOF Conference Planned in Charleston, SC

Where has the time gone? The appointed deadline for the Charleston Conference is tomorrow. This year’s conference is going to be amazing! In case you haven’t heard our speakers will be Darren Whitehead and Seth Buckley. The concert is going to be 3 hours long with NEWSBOYS and the WE BELIEVE GOD’S NOT DEAD TOUR with special guests Audio Adrenaline and Finding Favour. That is huge!!! Leading worship is one of your favorite groups, Roger Williams & the AMUQ.

Believe it or not we still have seats available. Please tell all your friends and churches in your community that registration has been extended and they can still register online until the seats are filled. You don’t want to miss out on attending what could be a life changing conference for you or your youth group.

Hearts On Fire Pigeon Forge Update…

Hearts On Fire, Pigeon Forge 2014, is going to be AWESOME!!!

For those of you who haven’t registered yet, no worries, we still have space available. Although the numbers are up from 2013 the LeConte Center will hold more people and we are still fine. You can register online either by the Check Payment Form or by using your credit card and going through PayPal (you can register as a guest if you don’t have a PayPal account).

You may ask why we have a deadline? If we didn’t have a deadline and you waited until the last minute and we were full, you would be very upset. One year that very thing happened. So many people waited until the last minute to register that we were full and many were told they couldn’t come. That was very difficult for us to turn people away and hard for those churches to break the news to their youth. That is why we have a deadline.

We are very excited about the new venue and the lineup we have for this year. Please keep the conference in your prayers. As Scott says, “the conference will never be any better than the prayers we put in to it.” Pray that many lives will be changed and that souls will be saved.
