Merry Christmas and Happy New Year are now in our past and as we look forward to future events I want to remind you of Hearts On Fire Charleston. February 13 & 14 at Charleston Southern University is going to be a conference you don’t want to miss. This is a huge event for the Lightsey Auditorium and we would like to see every seat filled. With that said, be aware, the venue only holds a maximum capacity of 1586 people. Please register soon because it is on a first come, first serve basis and I don’t like turning people away.
Darren Whitehead is not a new speaker for Hearts On Fire. He has been with us several times in the past 29 years. Darren is originally from Australia but has lived in the United States for more than 15 years. In March of 2013, Darren founded Church of the City, by planting two churches in Nashville, TN. Those two churches are the first of a network of twenty neighborhood churches planned for the Nashville metropolitan area. Darren has also recently released his first book, Rumors of God. Darren lives with his wife and three daughters in Nashville.
HOF is excited to have Seth Buckley, Minister to Students at First Baptist Spartanburg, SC, for the first time. For those of you in South Carolina I know you have heard of Seth, and many of you have probably had him at your church before. Seth is a consultant for the SC Baptist Convention. He and his wife have 4 children so he knows a lot about youth. Check out their website, www.fbs.org/students. Their youth building is called The Hangar. “Just as the hangar is a place where planes are built, remodeled, and prepared to be sent out into a mission in wartime, The Hangar at FBS is a place for junior high, high school and college students to experience the same process of preparation for their own lives of faith.” What a great analogy!
The concert series that we have coming to Hearts On Fire Charleston is one like we have never had before. The WE BELIEVE GOD’S NOT DEAD TOUR with Newsboys and special guest Audio Adrenaline and Finding Favour is huge! We just witnessed the Newsboys Concert at Hearts On Fire Pigeon Forge and it was one of the best concerts we have ever had. To understand that this will be three hours of music in a venue that only holds 1586 people is phenomenal. Everyone will be getting a very intimate, close up concert!
Please don’t wait to register! Register today! www.heartsonfireministries.org
