Hearts On Fire Gatlinburg, One for the Record Books!

We can’t begin to tell you what a blessing Hearts On Fire was this year. There are many people we need to thank but for fear we would leave someone out we would like to thank everyone – from the sweet ladies and gentleman who helped us pack the pre-ordered T-shirts to the very last person who loaded us out on Saturday night. We certainly could not hold Hearts On Fire without the help of so many. We love you and appreciate all the hours you devoted to Hearts On Fire Gatlinburg 2013.

We would like to take this opportunity to brag on all those in attendance! We watched as you filed into the convention center and we noticed how well behaved and kind you were. We know the weather conditions outside were not ideal and even though many of you waited for hours in the rain we did not have complaints. Thank you so much for your patience. We do the very best we can and your kind attitudes and understanding did not go unnoticed.

Our concerts this year were outstanding! We were blown away by both Tenth Avenue North and for KING & COUNTRY. They gave their all on stage not only once but for both sessions. Tenth Avenue North had traveled all night due to flight delays, but did everything within their power to get to HOF and God made the way. Many flights were canceled but not theirs. We are truly thankful they persevered and we applaud them for a performance that in no way reflected how tired they must have been. What can we say about for KING & COUNTRY except WOW! God certainly is using them to minister to many through their talents, their style of music and their love for the Lord that they present at each and every conference. After having the privilege to visit with them at two conferences, we know their desire is to serve God and to tell others about Him through their music. Thank you to both groups for spending time with us this year.

Hearts On Fire would be nothing without the speakers who bring the message that God puts before them to reach all who attend. Many times we get calls wanting to know what theme we are using for the year. Hearts On Fire has never had a theme because we don’t want to put our speakers in a “box” and tell them what they have to preach. We want the Lord to lead in each and every conference as He sees fit. What can we say to David Nasser & Kyle Idleman but “Thank You.” Both of these men brought a message from God and many hearts and lives were forever changed at Hearts On Fire 2013. Because of the message they shared with us, 416 life-changing decisions were made. Of those, 114 were salvation decisions, 159 were for recommitment, and 32 were for baptism. We praise God for those who were obedient to the call of the Lord on their lives and we encourage home churches to follow up on those decisions to encourage and disciple.

Of course we want to also thank our guests, Roger Williams and the AMUQ, 3D and our very own Hearts On Fire Praise Band!

Many of you have asked how many attended. We can honestly say that more attended this conference than ever in the history of Hearts On Fire. As for a definite number that is very difficult to be able to give. Many, many volunteers attend and we don’t always get the exact number, but those we have recorded number 9662. We had 425 churches who attended and twelve states represented. Praise God!

Please be planning now to attend Hearts On Fire Gatlinburg 2014 on November 21 & 22 as well as one of the conferences in March 2014 in Charleston, SC or Oklahoma City, OK. We would love to see you there!

Thank you again for attending and Hearts On Fire would like to wish each and every one of you a very Merry Christmas!

Only 3 nights to sleep before HOF GATLINBURG!

HOF 2013 is almost here! Soon you will be loading the vans and buses and heading to Gatlinburg, TN for a wonderful weekend of Praise & Worship.

We have been getting phone calls from many of you with questions about the weekend and we thought this might be a good time to share those answers with you.

Registration
You have now set a record for pre-registration! For the first time in the history of HOF the pre-registration has gone over 9000. The Omega session filled up quickly and we had to close the registration, only for that session. There is still room in the Alpha session. You can register your group online through Wednesday. No registrations will be taken online or by phone after 2:00pm Wednesday.

If you have one or two or three more that you would like to bring with you, at this point, you can add them at the event and pay for them when you arrive, space permitting (for Omega churches who have already registered this applies to you as well)!

For those of you who have never attended, there will be signs directing you to Registration on the Historic Nature Trail Entrance to the Convention Center. It is only necessary for one leader from each group to pick up wristbands, (no forms needed). Give us your church name, pick up your wristbands and you can join your group in line. At this time those who pre-ordered T-shirts will pick them up in the Registration area. If you need to pay for additional registrations, remember we only take cash or check. No credit cards. The cost for Registration at the event is still $35 per person.

T-Shirts
We will have HOF event T-shirts available for sale at three locations, upstairs near registration and two locations downstairs. The cost is $12 for Short Sleeve and $15 for Long Sleeve.

Weather
According to the local meteorologist, the forecast for Friday is a high of 63̊ and a low of 53̊ with a 60% chance of showers. The prediction for Saturday is a high of 58̊ and a low of 31̊ with a 60% chance of showers. As we all know, that can change very quickly and we are praying the chance of showers will decline. Please come prepared for rain – the lines form outside.

Behavior
Lines will begin forming up to two hours before the session begins. Seating is first come/first serve, but we ask that you would be kind and considerate while you are in line. Be patient, and respectful of those around you and do not push and shove. Do not run once you get into the Convention Center and do not stand on seats. We have 6000 seats ready and waiting for you.

Leaders, remember that to some of your youth you are the most Christ-like example they have. Please let them see someone that Christ can be proud of.

Telephone Calls
We will be leaving for Gatlinburg on Thursday morning to set up for the event. At this point everyone should be set and ready. Phone calls are very difficult to answer during the event. If you have any questions regarding your registration they can be addressed when you arrive.

We hope this addresses all of the questions you may have and that this will make your planning easier.

Already Blessed!
I spoke to a gentleman today who said their Pastor prayed over them on Sunday before sending them to the conference this weekend. They had one saved after that prayer! What a way to begin the conference!

Pray for Hearts On Fire! See You Soon!

YOU DID IT…OMEGA IS NOW FULL!!!

We have been watching the numbers for a few days and we are excited to say that Omega has reached the limit for pre-registering. There is a maximum that we can take in each session in order to meet the Convention Center and Fire Code regulations.

Now for more good news, we still have room in the Alpha Session. We would encourage those of you who have not registered yet to register as soon as possible for the Alpha Session.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions and remember to pray for the conference, only nine days away!

Two Weeks from Tonight….

Hearts On Fire Gatlinburg will just be starting! I can’t wait! We are looking forward to an amazing conference. Already the attendance is more than we had last year for pre-registration. That means that this is on target to be the largest attended conference in the history of Hearts On Fire.

I just wanted to make you aware that the Omega Session is very close to capacity. For those of you who have not registered, the Alpha Session is available. If you have already registered for Omega and just have a few add-ons please feel free to do so. We allow for the additions to be made to previous registrations.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Come prepared to receive a blessing!

Let the countdown begin!!!!!!

November 1 is TOMORROW!!!!

A quick update on HOF Gatlinburg Registration…

You have done a great job of registering early. I want to thank you for being so prompt. You would be amazed how much it helps us with preparations for the event.

Many of you have called with concern that your check will not arrive by tomorrow. That is fine. We are in a good place with registration and space is still available. The Omega session has more people registered than the Alpha in case you haven’t registered yet and are trying to decide which session to attend. We will continue to take your registrations until the sessions are filled.

Please visit our website for more information.

We are looking forward to an amazing conference!

Don’t forget to keep the Hearts On Fire Conference in your prayers!
